How Will You Be Selected?

The selection process has five clear stages:

Stage 1 — Shortlisting of Applications

All applications received will first be checked for eligibility. If the number of applications is very large compared to vacancies, HQ ANC may restrict candidates through merit-based shortlisting before the written exam.

Stage 2 — Written Examination

Shortlisted candidates will appear for a written exam of 100 marks in 2 hours covering Reasoning, General Awareness, English, and Numerical Aptitude. There is no negative marking, so attempt all questions confidently.

Stage 3 — Skill Test / Trade Test

For LDC post, candidates will have to pass a Typing Test — 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi. Only those who qualify in the skill test and are in the order of merit in the written exam will be considered for final selection.

Stage 4 — Document Verification

All shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Original educational certificates, caste certificate, Aadhaar card, experience certificate, and PwBD certificate (if applicable) must be genuine and properly self-attested.

Stage 5 — Medical Fitness Test

Finally, selected candidates will go through a Medical Fitness Test before receiving the joining letter.
